Nope, you haven’t woken up in the year 2000, so don’t go searching for your school uniform and wondering where your mum is. You’re still and adult and it’s still 2017, and yep, Atomic Kitten are still hanging in there.
Although saying that, Kerry Katona had to pull out one their gigs in Perth, Australia, this week due to a mystery illness, leaving Natasha Hamilton and brand new member Michelle Heaton to perform without her.
Kerry wrote on Twitter: “Wow I hear the girls did a great job at the gig! Sooo gutted at how poorly I feel and i wasn’t there to see you all!”
The girls are currently touring the Southern Hemisphere alongside ’00s staples Liberty X, East 17, B*Witched and S Club.
Earlier this week, Kerry rubbished rumours that she and Natasha are feuding after The Mirror reported “awkward tension” between the two Kittens as they performed in New Zealand.
“Where the hell this spat between tash and me has come from god knows @NatashaOfficial we’re like bloody sisters!! Xxx”, Kerry wrote on Twitter.
The girls were said to have got their claws out after Kerry made a pretty innocuous comment as they performed their chart-topping track ‘Whole Again’, which was released way back when in 2000. (Yep, it’s now 2017.)
“I was in the band then,” she quipped. “So it’s my number one too!”
Natasha diplomatically replied that it was actually “everyone’s” number one – and that was the apparent spat.
